Back in the day, I found it hard to justify going to more than 2 tournaments a month. I'd think that you'll continue to see poor turnouts if the player base is constantly being stretched, especially in conditions you've outlined.

Comment on 8 decks you can win with--Deck 1--Tezzeret Blue

These are great Write ups Ben well done.

I really liked the look of this list but after some testing. I surprised by Dan's results. I'm losing to Oath, fish and RG aggro pretty handly, even post board. Even traditional Slaver can slip in a Welder and wreck this mono blue deck. It looks great on paper but I'm struggling with it. I've found I need to counter near everything (even little seemingly innocuous weenies) as a quick kill is not this decks strong suit.

I know this dilutes the deck a bit and the redunduncy is one of the decks strengths, but I keep wanting a lone Shield Sphere in the deck. I have had many games where I have the mana to drop Tez, but am getting hit by say a 3/4 Tarmo each turn and cannot play Tez without it potentially dying. If I dropped Tez and for free put in a Shield Sphere I could block a while and buy enough time to combo out. It doesn't happen every game and I'd hate to draw the Shield in most games, but I did lose many close games against anything aggro because Tez alone could not answer swarms or big beats.

And an opposing Null Rod shuts down 11 maindeck TEZ-Blue cards including Time Vault... which 90% of the time means game. Null Rod scares this thing.

Comment on 8 decks you can win with--Deck 6--RGW Beats

Against combo you take out kamis and a couple STPs for the pyro pillars and maybe a couple rebs

Against monoU you take out cannonist and some fanatics, maybe 1 STP for rebs and pithing needle. Usually youll name tez, but it also hits EE and powder keg which is big. you keep in the STP for sower and dsc. keep the kamis in case of threads and propaganda. If you know they are bringing in propaganda, I'd proally toss those ray of revs in there.

Against other aggro decks you pretty much are going to crush them anyway so I wouldnt worry about it, unless they have specific cards that you are afraid of, sword of fire/ice, jitte, etc.

oath you take out fanatics for rebs and 2 other cards for ray of rev

vs stax you already have an INSANE matchup but id proally just take out the cannonists for ancient grudge and a pithing needle, or something like that

Boom.

Comment on 8 decks you can win with--Deck 6--RGW Beats

Is there any chance you could talk about sample sideboarding?

Comment on 8 decks you can win with--Deck 6--RGW Beats

no problem,

i have been testing this list with the switch of running main deck gaddock teeg. but so far it hasnt made much of an impact in games even though it hypothetically could be game wrecking.

Comment on 8 decks you can win with--Deck 6--RGW Beats

Good point; forgot about that one.

Comment on 8 decks you can win with--Deck 6--RGW Beats

Just thought i would note that Vexing Shusher gets around Chalice

and once he hits he can make the rest of your guys get around it to

Comment on 8 decks you can win with--Deck 4--Death Magnetic, aka I Can't Believe It's Not Slaver

Just to confirm Phil's comment, thanks Ben for this series and your effort put in them.
